Dr. Sayali Sanghvi
Founder
As the Founder of Smart Move Physical Therapy, Dr. Sayali Sanghvi holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy specializing in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the School of Health Sciences at Touro College, New York. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from India. Her Doctor of Physical Therapy program instilled in her a strong commitment to evidence-based treatment, advocating for the utilization of the most effective physical therapy methods based on evidence-based practice principles. Licensed as a physical therapist in both New York and New Jersey, Dr. Sanghvi brings seven years of cumulative experience working in India, New York, and New Jersey, developing extensive expertise in treating various orthopedic cases, particularly orthopedic postoperative and sports injuries.
Dr. Sanghvi, an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), is certified as a Clinical Instructor by the APTA. Her practice is informed by a robust foundation in exercise and manual therapy training. She possesses clinical proficiency in treating patients with vestibular disorders and falls. Furthermore, Dr. Sanghvi’s expertise encompasses manual therapy techniques, notably Mulligans, joint mobilization, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF).
She has completed numerous courses on kinesiology taping and has expertise in taping techniques for sports injuries and various orthopedic dysfunctions. Her continuing education has focused on various areas, including geriatric conditions, vestibular disorders, differential diagnosis in the upper and lower quarters, and pain management.

Meet Maulik Sanghvi, a Mechanical Engineering graduate whose professional journey took root in the pharmaceutical industry. With a decade-long tenure, he honed his expertise in project management, process engineering, all while prioritizing operational efficiency and patient first mentality.
As the Operations and Billing Manager and Co-Founder of Smart Move Physical Therapy, Maulik leverages his extensive experience to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline operational processes. His astute observations have pinpointed crucial areas for innovation, such as minimizing billing errors and optimizing turnaround times for insurance claims processing.
Drawing from his background in the biopharmaceutical sector, Maulik adeptly navigates compliance requirements, ensuring the clinic operates smoothly within healthcare billing and patient privacy laws. Moreover, he champions continuous education for his team, recognizing the pivotal role of a well-informed staff in upholding quality service and compliance standards.
